Hi! My name is Maggie Fischer. I graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2006 with a B.A. in Sociology and minors in Family studies and Psychology.

I have been working at Stepping Stones since the first year it opened.

I have worked with every age group here and truly enjoy them all.

As the preschool director I have the opportunity to interact with all of the children and families at our center. I love reading with the children, doing messy art activities, and engaging in elaborate dramatic play activities with them.

I also really enjoy challenging their gross motor skills by teaching the children new sports, like baseball and soccer, and setting up obstacle course both indoors and out on the playground.

Outside of Stepping Stones I enjoy spending time with my friends and family.

I love reading, movies, and going to concerts. Music is a big part of my life both in and out of the classroom. Baking and cake decorating are another favorite hobby of mine. I love sharing my interest in these areas with the children by doing as many baking and cooking projects as possible.
